Delete your TimeTool account or data

These instructions are public and do not require you to sign in to the TimeTool website. You can permanently delete your complete account from the Android or iOS app, delete selected data while keeping the account, or request help by email.

Delete your complete account in the app

  1. Open TimeTool on Android or iPhone and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Settings, then choose Delete Account.
  3. Review the deletion-impact summary. If TimeTool reports unsynced changes, use Sync Now before continuing.
  4. Re-authenticate with the same Google or Apple account when prompted.
  5. If you own organizer streams, type the exact confirmation phrase shown in the app.
  6. Tap Delete Account, then confirm the final permanent-deletion dialog.

The request permanently deletes the TimeTool application account and signs the device out. The action cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your TimeTool account. State that you want the TimeTool account deleted and identify whether you used Google or Apple sign-in.

Do not send your password, Google Account credentials, Apple ID credentials, payment details, or access tokens. We may need to verify account ownership before processing an emailed request.

Delete selected data without deleting your account

  • Private events: open My Events, use the event's menu, choose Delete, and confirm.
  • A followed stream: open Streams, use the stream's menu, choose Unfollow, and confirm. This removes the account's active subscription to that stream.
  • Other account data: email [email protected] from the account email and clearly identify the data you want deleted.

What complete account deletion removes

  • The TimeTool profile, application account, sign-in link, account role, and active membership entitlement.
  • Private cloud events, stream subscriptions, group memberships, invitations, and account-scoped sync data.
  • Owned streams and their subscriber-visible schedule data when the account is an organizer.
  • Pending or stored application records for PDF imports and extraction runs associated with the account.
  • TimeTool push-notification and Live Activity tokens associated with the deleted user where applicable.

What may be retained

Data Reason and retention
Deletion tombstone A minimal technical record of the authentication subject, prior internal user identifier, deletion time, and reason may be retained while needed to prevent a deleted identity from silently recreating the account.
Billing, tax, refund, and dispute records Records required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, refunds, or disputes are normally retained for 10 years from the relevant accounting record, and longer only when required for an unresolved legal claim or other binding obligation.
Temporary PDF objects PDF source files are designed to be temporary and are deleted after extraction success, failure, or cancellation. Any remaining object associated with deletion is queued for technical cleanup.
Provider-controlled records Google, Apple, Stripe, or another payment or identity provider may retain records under its own terms and legal obligations. TimeTool account deletion cannot delete data controlled independently by those providers.

Subscriptions must be cancelled separately

Deleting your TimeTool account does not automatically cancel a subscription controlled by Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Stripe. Cancel it through the store or billing service where you purchased it to prevent future renewal charges.
